Ready for an unforgettable Columbia River Gorge adventure? Join Martins Gorge Tours and go guided with a hike on Beacon Rock, one of the Gorge’s most iconic landmarks.

Our hike begins in the forest before ascending the basalt monolith along Henry Biddle’s historic trail, featuring switchbacks and wooden bridges. Along the way, enjoy spectacular views of the Columbia River and Cascade Mountains while your local interpretive guide brings the landscape and its stories to life.

Explore the fascinating geology, volcanic history, and Ice Age Floods that shaped Beacon Rock. Learn fun facts about the Lewis and Clark expedition and Henry Biddle, who bought Beacon Rock for a mere $1 to build this famous trail to the summit.

Bottled water, snacks, and trekking poles are provided. Proper walking shoes, a hat, and sunglasses are recommended.
