MULTNOMAH FALLS – As Oregon’s tallest waterfall and most popular natural attraction, the 620-foot falls is a must-see. During this stop, you can stroll to Benson Bridge, shop for souvenirs, grab a coffee, or check out the visitor center hosted by the Forest Service.
VISTA HOUSE – Perched atop Crown Point, the historic 1917 Vista House offers some of the most breathtaking, panoramic views anywhere in the Columbia River Gorge. During this stop, take in the spectacular scenery, marvel at the building’s beautiful marble interior, historic exhibits, and grab a quick treat at the espresso bar and a souvenir at the gift shop.
LATOURELL FALLS – Experience the striking beauty of this magnificent 249-foot single-plunge waterfall famous for its unique geology. During this stop, you can take a short, easy walk right to the base of the falls to feel the mist, admire the stunning columnar basalt cliffs, and photograph the vibrant yellow lichen that frames the falls.
BONNEVILLE FISH HATCHERY – Explore the beautifully maintained grounds of the historic Bonneville Fish Hatchery during this stop. You will meet the hatchery’s most famous resident: Herman the Sturgeon, a 90+-year-old, 10-foot-long, 500-pound prehistoric fish who lives in a specialized underwater viewing center. You will feed rainbow trout in the display ponds and browse the gift shop. During spring and fall, you may have the opportunity to see the salmon returning.
